Therapy & coaching

I empower adults and adolescents to return to their most integrated and resilient selves, through immersive & restorative mind/body processes

A steward of composting personal & collective traumas + stories into something new and wilder

I experience therapy as a way to build resilience, like we observe in the natural world we’re a part of. In my work, I collaborate with others to establish a safe space where wounds, old, false stories, limiting beliefs, traumas, and any way life and external structures have tamed the soul and spirit can be exposed and accepted. This process is inevitably challenging and presents with some pain and discomfort. But it also requires play. I meet everyone lovingly, with an approach that is empowering, collaborative, heart-centered, alive and honoring of the vulnerability and sacred timing required. When needed, I am an active guide in the process – challenging you and providing tools. Trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, chronic/complex illness, harmful patterns and addictions, ADHD, dissociation, oppression and assimilation issues, and empowerment are major themes in many clients’ work.

Never cede the power of your instinct & intuition to any healer.

This is a deeply unsettling and provocative time, and realignment with our instinctive, wild nature, like-hearted humans, animals, and Mother Earth can help us reclaim all these false divisions. I am influenced by and trained in Jungian/Depth Psychology, Feminist Psychology and overall cultural, racial, and structural empowerment; Ecopsychology, Reiki and energy healing; psychedelic-assisted therapy and plant medicine, restorative justice, mindfulness; soma/trauma-oriented approaches and EMDR. I also lead and encourage group therapy experiences and am a program lead at Wolf Connection, an education and empowerment program pairing rescued wolves with adolescents and adults.

So many formulas for “health” or “healing” exist in this world – countless, sparkly, singular ways to heal, change, transform, “become a new you”, whatever. That is not my approach. I believe coaching and therapy are a catalyst, a collaboration, not a formula to follow. Take what works for you and leave the rest.

“Micha blends her business savvy, keen intuition, and ability to ask pointed questions that get to the heart of the matter in her approach as a consultant and coach.  She creates a warm and welcoming space for exploration and growth, yet she’s progressive in that she’s two steps ahead leading me down the path towards my goals.  I love that Micha is a marketing and strategy ninja with an entrepreneurial spirit.  In this way, she can meet me in my quest for both personal and professional self-discovery.  WIthin our first session, I had major clarity on a challenge that had been weighing on me for months, and I knew that was just the beginning!”

Andie

“I thought every facilitator (Micha and Amanda) brought so much soul, grace, and love to the program, each in her own unique way. (They) did a wonderful job of simultaneously holding space, going deep, bringing lightness, and just being incredibly REAL. (They) each had so much goodness to share, and I think so highly of all of them!”

“I want to say from the bottom of my heart that this program has touched my soul in many ways and was the medicine I did not even realize I needed. You have given me the sacred space to feel seen, feel heard, and feel valued. Through this process I have been able to turn my pain into power and my loss into lessons. The time I had with the wolves has given me the medicine to stand in my power and honor my voice. I will no longer stay quiet, but we let my wild soul out into the world at the rightful place she belongs!”
