Reiki Level 1 Attunement

There are four attunements to attain Master Teacher Level; however, each level of attunement is singular and powerful whether Master Teacher level calls to you or not. The Level I Attunement (Cho Ku Rei) is often all people seek, as it turns on the light switch to the power within. An inner knowing emerges that breaks the physical and mental ties that bind your ability to expand and live in your truth.

Reiki, like most of the work I focus on, is an incredible gateway to simply returning to a home within each of us and a bridge back to all energy that we’re connected to, despite modern and Western societal attempts to create separation. Reiki is one of my best tools to radically subvert the cages our systems attempt to lock us in.

In this ceremonial day, you will learn what Reiki is, how to harness it for self-healing, and how to share it with other beings – through an afternoon of study and ceremony. The teachings I pass on are in the Usui Shiki Ryoho Method tradition, and I have added additional ceremonial knowledge and metaphysical applications from my studies and Elemental Rewilding process. We study the history, the first symbol, self-healing hand positions, how to begin informally giving Reiki, and you will receive your first Reiki attunement.

Time: August 15 & September 12, 2021;1:00pm PST, Altadena, CA. Address sent upon registration. Ceremony lasts 3.5-4 hours.

Materials included: Lesson manual and certificate of completion.

Please bring: A journal if you’d like as well as any energetic materials you feel called to (stones, crystals, oils, objects) Please wear comfy clothes and any layers you might need. Freshly-cleaned sitting cushions and blankets will be available and healing tea tonics.
