1:1 & Small Group Mixed modality immersives

Liberating & life-changing work outside of regular therapy or in partnership

Through this deeper work, we bit by bit reconnect, return, and reclaim untamed, intuitive and unique parts of Self secreted away in internal caves and closets. The skeleton keys seem to belong to the 5 elements of Rewilding and the power of ceremony.

The model of weekly talk therapy is one that provides a touchstone ritual – through the 1:1 relationship with a therapist who is a safe shelter, we enter this weekly chrysalis, likely one of the only hours of the week we conduct an honest check-in. So I would never diminish this, but it’s the off-the-50-minute-clock invitation to go deeper than that scaffolding allows where intuitive, deep work can transcend a lot of our automatic thoughts and the shield of the unconscious. Humans are built for ceremony and rituals, and we so obviously crave it in nearly every aspect of our lives.

What are Immersives?

In many ways, this is a key concentration my heart, the lessons digested from working with hundreds of people and my purpose have been leading me to. These are multi-hour 1:1 or very small group sessions co-created with a client in a special environment with pre-agreed upon intentions and overall flow so the day can be instinctive and built on trust.

I created weREWILD years ago mostly because of my faith in immersive 1:1 and group experiences. The rituals, resources, and informative aspects of weREWILD spring from an indefatigable desire to make immersive healing processes more accessible and to level the barrier of entry to transformative tools. The soil from which this blooms is a firm belief rewilding our souls and spirits is the most potent path towards reconnecting our broken systems, communities, and Earth, not just our splintered hearts. Providing resources, stories, and facilitating community experiences and connection is kind of the combustion engine faith fueling weREWILD – helping abolish shame and facilitating the echo of “me too”.

What is EMDR?

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy and physiological therapy technique that assists the brain in effectively healing trauma, grief, PTSD, anxiety, depression, panic disorders, and various other issues. EMDR Intensives pack the benefits of EMDR therapy into the most effective and efficient method for creating lasting healing change into a short amount of time. You can learn more HERE.

Expressive Arts and Ecotherapy

(Language from the therapeutic collective I’m a part of: A Human Sanctuary) These are thoughtfully integrated into the intensive work to support the nervous system in integrating the material as it is moving through the EMDR reprocessing. Expressive Arts provide access to the unconscious mind in a powerful way. You do not have to be an “artist” to benefit from expressive arts. You will be safely guided through exercises that are designed to support the natural consolidation of newly emerging material and self-understanding. Expressive Arts is frequently combined with ecotherapy and working with the elements of nature.

If you’re not an existing client and interested in a mixed modality and/or trauma immersive, you can schedule a conversation with me below to discuss intentions, rates and details. All immersives include a preparatory session, details on the day – what to bring, suggestions on comfortable clothes, suggestions on nourishment the week before, and ideas of what to expect – as well as at least one follow-up session. When possible, I offer payment plans.

Testimonials

“I thought every facilitator (Micha and Amanda) brought so much soul, grace, and love to the program, each in her own unique way. (They) did a wonderful job of simultaneously holding space, going deep, bringing lightness, and just being incredibly REAL. (They) each had so much goodness to share, and I think so highly of all of them!”

“To say that this program is life-changing seems like an understatement. I feel like I will never be the same person again, in a good way. This program woke me up to something that was sleeping in me, an embracing of parts of myself as reflected to me through the wolves. If you are a spiritual woman who feels a connection with wolves, this program is for you! The program is facilitated by amazing women (Micha and Amanda) who care deeply about what they do and what they have to offer.

The women’s group was really amazing. I think it was amazing because of the authentic facilitation of the group. The honesty was so palpable. The facilitators (Micha and Amanda) supported the group, encouraged and acknowledged, and shared their own process. Absolutely beautiful.

I’m sitting in the bus to San Francisco sobbing my eyes out! And that’s huge for me because I’m not a person who shows her feelings! But this weekend showed me through all those different stories! That it is ok to struggle with the past and get help! And that’s what I finally have to do now so I can focus on the bright future! Thank you guys so much! I can never tell u how grateful I am for that!
