Water, Sounds, Sustainability | It’s a Mermaid Take-over

Merman not at all excluded!

We’re not even two months into hitting the “live” button on Of The Wolves 2.0, and we’ve been graced with a line-up of guest editors that are the utter embodiment of who we are: incredibly diverse and passionate. First, Troian Bellisario pulled back the curtains on her life for us and shared some of her musical tastes, honestly discussed some of her loner tendencies, and recapped some of her favorite shoppable products right now. This week, pro-surfer and entrepreneur Kassia Meador is our Chief Wolf, setting a backdrop for stories around water’s healing powers, conservation, and art inspired by the elements.

Kassia is – get this –  a pro-surfer, wetsuit and swimwear designer, business owner, photographer and a soundscapes engineer – proficient on the ‘ole crystal bowls. In getting to know her recently, it appears as though all of these passions get equal measures of her energy, which of course raises the question of how (?) and incurs a natural state of envy. She’s the perfect example of going where the energy goes, not bare knuckling through life nor fighting against the natural flow. As far as I can tell, Kassia follows her inner compass around the bends of each day and possesses immense joy for each and every activity she engages in. Kassia shares the following with fans of her KASSIA Surf line (sold around the country):

Who or what inspires you?
“Diana Vreeland! The way she speaks about things is pure poetry. The way she talks about surfing having never done it herself really makes you feel it in a way I’ve never heard anyone articulate so masterfully. ‘OH TO BE A SURFER, BETWEEN THE SKY AND THE WATER…’”

What is KASSIA the brand, about?
“KASSIA is about Freedom and Empowerment. Superior Quality, Life Enriching, Enlightening, Functional, Future Flavor with a Classic Twist. Made by Mermaids for Mermaids!”

So get your floaties out, grab a cold beverage, and enjoy Kassia week here at Of The Wolves!
